Welcome to Bellevue Family Practice PC

COVID19  *We now offer drive up appointments for established patients with symptoms of  flu or Covid19.  Please call 402 292-9170 option 5 to schedule a drive up appointment.  The cost associated will be a visit charge plus any testing necessary. Charges will be billed to insurance.  If you have any out of pocket due after your plan processes the claim, we will send you a bill.  Rapid flu test are processed at our office.  Covid19 tests will be sent to an outside laboratory.  Any cost for this will be billed by them.   Please call your insurance company if you have questions regarding coverage for this.  Most insurance companies are waiving cost share costs but we are unable to know the coverage for every insurance company and plan.  Self pay patients will be expected to pay at time of the drive up appointment. *

We are no longer allowing walk in appointments.  Patients must call in advance for an appointment.  Our triage phone staff will determine if they can schedule you to come to our office and they will discuss any symptoms you may have with our providers.  If you have an existing appointment and not sure if you should come for your appointment, please call in advance.

If you are uncomfortable coming in person for an appointment at our office, and you are an established patient, you may request a telemedicine phone or video appointment from your home by calling our office to schedule a time in advance.  There will be a fee for this based on the approved codes that have been established because of the COVID19 outbreak and billed to your insurance.  If you want to know if your insurance will cover this, please contact your insurance company regarding coverage on your plan.  We are unable to know what each company will cover.   If you do not have insurance, this service will also be provided by calling us to schedule a phone/video appointment and by providing a credit/debit card by phone.

Please note that if you are having mild symptoms but no travel to at risk locations, you will need to put on a mask at our office.

  •  Emma Edwards, PA-C is leaving Bellevue Family Practice in April 2020.  Below is her message.  We will miss Emma and wish her all the best.  *She will be staying on temporarily after March 30th at Bellevue Family Practice due to the Covid19 situation.  We will be adding a provider to replace Emma at a later date.

Dear Bellevue Family Practice patients and families,

I am writing this letter to let you all know that I will be leaving my position at Bellevue Family Practice at the end of *March.  This is in no way related to the practice as I have had an amazing experience working here and learned so much from my coworkers and each of you as patients.

As some as you know, my husband will be graduating from school this May and has accepted a position in Lincoln and we will be moving this spring.  I have decided that it is in the best interest of my family to work closer to home and avoid a long drive every day with two young children.  For this reason, I have accepted a position at a speciality clinic in Lincoln that I will begin at the beginning of *April.

Please know that you all have taught me a tremendous amount during my seven years at BFP and I am honored you chose me to care for you and your most beloved family members.

Bellevue Family Practice remains here for whatever you may need and I will pass the baton to the other existing and future hired providers to continue to provide you the excellent care BFP is known to provide.

Thank you again for your trust.  I have enjoyed knowing all of you.

Emma Edwards, PAC

Bellevue Family Practice was founded in 1983 by Dr. Robert Saniuk. He partnered with Dr James Biskup in 1991. Both of the owners have strong roots in this area, and thoroughly enjoy practicing in Bellevue where they can remain close to family and friends. They both maintain personal relationships with many of their patients.

Bellevue Family Practice has grown over the years from a relatively small office and patient base to a large independently owned practice that is served by 2 physicians and 2 physicians assistants, caring for a large diverse patient base. We offer many services right here in the clinic to make it as convenient for our patients to obtain the needed services. Check out the services tab for a complete list of the many services that we offer.
